Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Promotion and/ or submitting a claim, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. A full copy of these Terms and Conditions is published at www.hisenserewards.co.uk/rakutenmovies.

1. The Promoter
1.1. The Promoter is: Hisense UK Limited of Unit 2 Meadow Court, Millshaw, Leeds, England, LS11 8LZ.

2. The Promotion
2.1. The title of the promotion is “Hisense Rakuten TV Movies Promotion”.

3. Key Conditions of the Promotion
3.1. The promotion is an offer by the Promoter, allowing a participant to claim Rakuten TV rental movie codes if they have purchased a qualifying product from a participating retailer during the period 17th June 2020 to 21st July 2020 (the “Promotion Purchase Period”).
3.2. Customers can claim either 5 or 10 rental movie codes on Rakuten TV worth up to £5.49 each, depending upon the qualifying product they have purchased.
3.3. Participating retailers are listed in ANNEX 1 to these Terms and Conditions.
3.4. Qualifying products and the number of Rakuten TV rental movie codes which can be claimed in respect of each qualifying product, are listed in ANNEX 2 to these Terms and Conditions.
3.5. Claims for Rakuten TV rental movie codes can be submitted after purchase and claims must be submitted online in accordance with Section 5 below between 17th June 2020 and 16th August 2020 (the “Promotion Claim Period”).
3.6. The movie codes will only be provided once a claim has been validated in accordance with Section 5 below. Proof of purchase is required.
3.7. The offer is limited to one claim per person, per qualifying product purchased and depending on qualifying product purchased customers can claim either 5 or 10 rental movie codes per claim.
3.8. Each code is valid to redeem for a HD rental movie available on Rakuten TV worth up to £5.49. After redeeming your code, you will have 48 hours to watch it.
3.9. Once the movie codes are issued, they must be used by no later than 19th October 2020.

4. Eligibility Requirements
4.1. The promotion is open to residents of the UK who are aged eighteen (18) or over and who have a UK bank account.
4.2. The promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies or agents or members of their immediate families or households or to anyone involved in the administration of the Promotion.
4.3. This is a consumer only promotion. Any purchases of the qualifying products on a trade or wholesale basis are excluded from the promotion.
4.4. Any purchases of qualifying products as graded goods, ex-display goods, seconds or where they are otherwise known to be imperfect goods, or as replacements, are excluded from the promotion.
4.5. No movie codes can be claimed in respect of Qualifying Products which have been returned. By submitting a claim, you are confirming and representing to us that you have not returned the qualifying product in respect of which your claim is made.
4.6. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers made by the Promoter or its Group which are running during the same period.
4.7. In entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to make a claim.

5. How to Claim
5.1. Claims can only be made online by completing the application form which will be made available at www.hisenserewards.co.uk/rakutenmovies.
5.2. Proof of purchase must be provided to make a claim. Proof of purchase must be in the form of a copy of an original receipt for the purchase of a qualifying product from a participating retailer during the Promotion Purchase Period. Copies of deposit receipts and/ or order confirmations will not be accepted as proof of purchase.
5.3. Claims will only be accepted where: (i) a participant has purchased a minimum of one (1) qualifying product from a participating retailer during the Promotion Purchase Period; and (ii) a participant has completed the online application form, providing all required information, together with proof of purchase, within the Promotion Claim Period.
5.4. Once a completed application form has been received by the Promoter, the participant will receive a confirmation of receipt by email.
5.5. Where a claim can be verified, the participant will be notified by email within 7-14 days and issued with either 5 or 10 Rakuten TV rental movie codes.
5.6. Where a claim is rejected or cannot be verified, the participant will be notified by email. Where missing information is needed to verify the claim, the participant will be given a reasonable opportunity to provide the missing information but in all cases any missing information must be provided by not later than 23rd August 2020.
5.7. Once voucher codes have been issued to you by the Promoter, the deadline for using the codes in the Rakuten TV is 23:59 on 19th October 2020. Once the codes are received, participants must do four things as follows: (i) enter Rakuten TV; (ii) choose the film; (iii) register or log in with your email; (iv) enter the voucher code to watch the movie. After redeeming your voucher code in Rakuten TV, you will have 48 hours to watch your chosen movie. Rakuten TV reserves the right to modify, postpone or withdraw their service content any time. The vouchers can only be used in the UK. The voucher codes are not valid for resale.
5.8. If you do not already have a Rakuten TV account, to use your voucher codes, you will have to register with Rakuten TV, accept their terms of use, their contract terms and Rakuten TV privacy and cookie policy. You do not need to enter any payment method to redeem the voucher codes.
5.9. For help with claim applications, participants can call the helpline on 01565 656 607 between 9.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays in England). However, claims cannot be made by telephone. [Note: this is a local rate number. Please check with your telephone provider for exact call costs. Calls may be recorded and monitored for training and monitoring purposes.]

6. General Conditions
6.1. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for claim applications which are lost, delayed in transit, misdirected or which otherwise do not reach the Promoter, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, except in cases of negligence, fault or deliberate act or omission of the Promoter or its agents.
6.2. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for any claim applications which are rejected or cannot be verified within the required timeframes or for any other issues, due to the provision by a participant of incorrect or incomplete information or contact details or bank details.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out investigations and/ or take such other action as may be reasonable under the circumstances, to protect itself from fraudulent and/ or invalid claims, including (without limitation), by requesting Participants to provide additional information and/ or documentation in support of their claim and/ or by seeking verify and or validate information and/ or documentation provided with relevant third parties (including retailers). The Promoter reserves the right to reject any claims which (in its reasonable opinion) may be fraudulent or invalid.
6.4. This promotion and these Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Faulty and defective products and products which are subject to consumer credit and distance selling transactions can be returned to the retailer for a replacement or refund, as provided for, and in accordance with, the laws in force in the country of purchase.

7. Data Protection
7.1. The Promoter is the data controller for all personal information collected via the claim portal (at www.hisenserewards.co.uk/rakutenmovies) and included in promotion claims. The Promoter will only process your personal information for the purposes of running the Promotion, verifying, handling and fulfilling claims, dealing with disputes, investigating fraud and (if you consent) for marketing purposes.
7.2. The Promoter uses the services of The Marketing Lounge Partnership Limited (acting as a data processor) as a fulfilment agency to assist it in administering the Promotion and verifying and fulfilling claims in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7.3. Please refer to our Privacy Policy at (www.hisenserewards.co.uk/rakutenmovies) for further information as to how the Promoter will process your personal information in connection with this Promotion.
7.4. If you register with Rakuten TV when using or redeeming your voucher codes they will collect and process any personal information you provide to them for that purpose, as a separate data controller and in accordance with the terms of their own Privacy Policy.

8. General
8.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude you from participating in the promotion or from submitting claims or using the claims portal.
8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Promotion and/ or to amend these Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time where (in its reasonable discretion) it considers it to be desirable or necessary to do so or where this is necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
8.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
